Being able to expand the store, hire employees to help you, and add more variety to night events would make a huge difference. That said, I felt like I completed the game way too fast. I was expecting something closer to an endless experience, with a lot more progression and upgrades. In my head, I imagined HELLMART as a supermarket simulator where I could easily invest 70–100 hours without getting bored. When I saw Hellmart’s trailer, I was expecting something completely different from what I ended up with. It’s a game that, in a way, misleads you to some extent. The trailer sells this game (or at least that’s how I perceived it) as a very scary game, however, it isn’t. It’s relatively short; you can complete it in a couple of hours. In those couple of hours, I don’t think I really felt the sensation I thought the game was going to give me.
Features and System Requirements:
- A blend of supermarket simulator and horror, where everyday routine gradually turns into a nightmare.
- Dynamic customer behavior and horror systems that adapt to how you play. No two shifts are ever the same.
- Realistic visuals that capture the eerie vibe of a roadside store surrounded by snowy woods.
- Evil that stalks the nights, able to mimic any customer.
- Your actions matter: the fate of your customers and the story’s ending depend on the decisions you make throughout the game.
